The external auditor is an independent reviewer of Boliden's accounts to ensure that they provide a fair, accurate and complete portrayal of the company's position and economic performance. The auditor also reviews the Board’s and the managing director’s administration and reports his findings to the Board without the presence of management and also to the shareholders at the AGM.

At the 2026 AGM, the accounting firm Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers AB was  reelected as auditor for the period until the end of the next Annual General Meeting. 

Authorized public accountant Anna Rosendal was appointed auditor-in-charge. She is a partner of Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers, a board member of PwC Sverige and has auditing assignments inter alia for Sandvik. Compensation to the auditor will be paid according to approved invoice.
