The race starts at the Knalla Mine Museum, and two kilometres later participants head underground. The underground road has a 15% incline. The turning point is located at the 350‑metre level, from where the route climbs back up to the surface. The running event is organized together with the ski club Zinkgruvans IF, and the proceeds from the registrations go to the club’s important activities for children and youth.

This year’s starting slots sold out in record time, already in June. However, there are still places available for the children’s and youth race.
