Boliden Kokkola is located in Kok­ko­la In­dustrial Park - KIP in the district of Yks­pih­la­ja, approximately five kilometers northwest from the city center.

All vehicle and passenger transport is taking place through the Port Tower. Access to the factory area require a personal entry pass from Port Tower's information desk. Please be prepared to prove your identity. Once you've got your entry pass, you will be guided to the factory area.

Kokkola Industrial Park's size is 700 hec­ta­res. In the area,
17 pro­duc­tion com­pa­nies and near­ly 60 ser­vice com­pa­nies
ope­ra­te. In total there are more than 70 or­ga­niza­tions and they employ 2 300 people.

KIP’s com­pa­nies access se­ve­ral mar­ket areas and many dif­fe­rent in­dica­tors con­firm their lea­ding po­si­tion in the world. Pro­duc­tion faci­li­ties are main­ly in­ter­na­tio­nal and a great share of their
pro­duc­tion is ex­por­ted all over the world.
