Cookies are small data files stored on the device you visit a site from. A pixel tag is a code embedded on websites and in email messages to record what happens on a website and when an email message is downloaded or opened.
There are two types of cookies: permanent cookies and session cookies. Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your device or on the server that sent them, until you delete them. Session cookies are stored temporarily and disappear when you close your browser.
While you can set your browser not to accept cookies, this may limit the ability to read all of the pages and features on a site.
