In October, one of the direct leaching tanks suffered a serious technical failure and was immediately shut down. The three remaining tanks were also shut down for safety reasons while the problem was investigated, but were re-commissioned at the end of December and have been fully operational since then. Boliden Odda is now back up to its planned rate of production.
